Is PETRA Right For Richmond? "FORUM"

YOU ARE INVITED TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD ABOUT THE PROPOSED PUBLIC HOUSING & HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER "HUD" CHANGES

PETRA is the federal government's attempt to provide funding leverage for public housing redevelopment. The challenge with this type of redevelopment rest in the potential for mortgage default, thus creating unstable living conditions for a vulnerable population already in struggling financial situations.

RePHRAME has confirmed participation from Linda Couch of the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) and Diane Yentel of the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and plans to invite members of the RRHA Board of Commissioners as well as members of City of Richmond City Council to discuss the ramifications of this legislation proposal at the forum.

Transportation for public housing residents available ! For More Information, Call 804.859.7116.
